Naturally, after my maths exam - which was actually pretty easy ngl (I feel like I should stop saying that so I'm less shocked when I inevitably do badly lol) - instead of commencing research for my presentation on The Rime of the Ancient Mariner presentation happening in my tutorial on Thursday morning, I make an entire music video. I would argue that Peep and the gothboiclique are neo-romantic though: just look at their motifs and imagery. It's all the romantic ideals (potential, revolution, sublimity, ego, hierarchical dismantling) in new metaphorical vehicles - literally: all black benz trucks, not dancing in the back of the club, angel wings.
Anyway. I've had this one on my mind for a long time - pretty much since I discovered Peep and this song on the 24th of December last year (I welcomed in Christmas midnight with chest pains over lost potential). If you pay attention to the video you'll see why. God that sounds wanky. But yah hope you like it xx
